Sarah Keenan. Lead Trainer


Sarah has worked in the Heath and Social Care Sector for 15 years in both children and adults respite services and long term residential units. She has a wealth of experience working with those with learning & physical disabilities, mental illness, behaviours that challenge us, Autism and older people with diagnosis such as Dementia.

It is her belief that everyone should have an independent and equal voice regardless of ability. Her passion for people rights, choice, independence and well being is the golden thread of everything she does.

Hugely passionate and experienced in delivering training, Sarah works with a plethora of participants including Retirement Villages, Care homes, Residential Services, Domiciliary Services, and education settings such as Schools and Nurseries.

Qualifications and Skills:

In addition to her BA Hons degree, Sarah is a qualified Safeguarding Instructor, holds an IOSH qualification in Moving and Handling objects, People Moving and Handling, Train The Trainer & Managing Safely.
She is also a registered NUCO First Aid instructor in both Adults and Paediatric and can deliver Level 2 courses in Safe Administration of Medication and Food Safety.

Sarah recently has qualified as First Aid for Mental Health instructor.

Community Interests:

As a passionate community champion Sarah is the Trustee for Finance and Income Generation at  The Cancer Support Centre. A volunteer receptionist/ward clark at St Giles Hospice, Whittington & a Group Chair of an Executive Committee for a local Scout Group
